Where the calm Kouchibouguacis river flows into the shallow Saint-Louis lagoon with its golden sand dunes. Each part of these waters intertwines with fascinating Mi’gmaq and Acadian cultures.

Admire the animal life in and around the Kouchibouguacis river and Kouchibouguac coastal waters, from the safe and comfortable pontoon boat Phocus. Hear impressive local history facts and learn about the events that made this area what it is today.
See Bald Eagles hunt, stare at the second largest Common Tern colony of North America and meet hundreds of Grey Seals enjoying the sunshine on sandbars and in the water.
This tour lasts between 2 ½ and 3 hours. A drink and a small snack will be provided halfway. Make sure your camera is charged!

To ensure you will have the best possible experience, the Marine Wildlife Safari tours are scheduled in such a way that crowded waters are avoided (fishermen coming back from their trip) and to avoid sailing in darkness.
From June 15 - September 20, there is a daily tour at 5pm.
Prices for the Marine Wildlife Safari are $66.50 for adults (12 and over), and $58.00 for children (11 and under).
We will not be able to sail if the weather gets really bad. We will get in touch with you as soon as we know we have to cancel a trip for meteorological -or other reasons - to reschedule or refund. But to be on the safe side we advise you to check in with us the day before departure.
Even when the weather is good, it may get a bit chilly on the water. Make sure you bring a windbreaker. Life vests et cetera are available on board. Note: there is a small washroom on board, but using one ashore before departure is much more comfortable.
A maximum total of passengers for the tours is set at 10 and we have to have a minimum of 4 persons per tour to make our trip cost effective. If you have a bigger group, please get in touch for a special charter (up to 10 adults).
If, for any reason, you have to cancel, get in touch with us, and get fully refunded up to three days in advance of the planned tour (in case you have prepaid).
